March brings the first recommended application of Spring fertilizer.  We recommend our Super Green 15-5-10 fertilizer, Calpril (Lime) and Soil Activator.  This combination provides all the nutrition a winter lawn needs for lush greening without promoting excessive growth.  If weeds or nuisance grasses are a problem, add Turf & Ornamental Weed and Grass Stopper.  This granular application snuffs out emerging Poa Anna (aka: Annual Blue Grass) and prevents its spread.  It also does a superior job on controling broad leaf weeds.  Use early in the season for best results.
